Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira left the game after being hit on the elbow with a Jeremy Guthrie fastball. Teixeira slammed his helmet to the ground and walked towards the Yankee dugout. Trainers met him on the field and escorted him off.
UPDATE: Tex was seen by a doctor and has a right elbow contusion. X-rays were not taken and he will be reevaluated tomorrow.

Losing Teixeira would be a devastating loss to the Yankees and to any fantasy team so hopefully this remains minor.
